Jeronimo Martins plans to allocate about 45% of this year’s capital expenditures to its operations in Poland, the company – owner of the Biedronka and Hebe chains, among others – said.

“We are committed to our long-term goals and stand by all the plans previously disclosed for each of our businesses and our intention to prioritize investments, estimating that they will be in line with 2022 outlays (about €1 billion), of which about 45% will be invested in Poland,” – The announcement reads.

In Q1-Q3 2023, the Group’s investment program reached €790 million, of which about 44% was invested in Biedronka, it also stated.

At the end of Q3 2023, the Biedronka chain had 3,473 outlets, while Hebe had 328 outlets.
