Kubota SA, formerly Kubota Wear, is a company reactivated in 2018 by Piotr Kwiatkowski and Alina Sztoch. However, the brand has been on the footwear market for much longer, since the 1990s, when it started selling its well-known flip-flops. Currently, the company, apart from footwear, sells clothing and accessories.
The history of the Kubota brand began with Wiesław Michalski, who is the vice-president of the management board in the new company. Kubota SA focuses on development through the e-commerce channel, but recently it has also launched several stationary stores in Poland. Additionally, the company is considering foreign expansion on eastern markets.
In addition to the famous flip-flops, Kubota recently launched the first collection of clothes that it sells via the Internet. Currently, the company’s shares are being issued on the CrowdConnect platform, under which it plans to raise PLN 2.5 million. The goals of the public offer are to increase the stock of products, develop the team with experienced people from marketing, sales and logistics departments, and develop kubotastore.pl with new functionalities, optimize the portal in terms of speed and UX, create an English language version and a B2B platform.
