Integrity tests of Police Polymers will be carried out by the end of 2023

Grupa Azoty assumes that integrity tests of the Polimery Police installation will be carried out by the end of 2023, which will be a milestone in the commencement of commercial operation of the investment, said Vice-President Marek Wadowski.

“The material progress of Polimery Police is 99.6%. During the technological start-up, we identified a number of technical problems that are currently being eliminated. We assume that we will conduct integrity tests by the end of the year, which will be a milestone allowing us to take over the project for commercial use,” Wadowski said during a teleconference.

At the end of August, the company announced that the implementation time of the Polimery Police project had been extended by 2-3 months due to problems with equipment during the start-up phase of some installations.

Grupa Azoty ranks second in the EU in the production of nitrogen and multi-component fertilizers, and products such as melamine, caprolactam, polyamide, OXO alcohols and titanium white also have a strong position in the chemical sector, being used in many industries. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 24.66 billion in 2022.
