InPost: The e-commerce market will grow by max. 25% by value, up to 12% by volume in 2022

InPost expects that the e-commerce market in Poland will grow in value by a high dozen or so to 25% y / y, and in terms of volume - by a maximum of approx. 12%, said Adam Aleksandrowicz, financial director.

"From today's perspective, i.e. based on what we know today and how we estimate the level of inflation and interest rates, our expectation for market value growth - because we must very clearly distinguish between value growth and quantitative growth in the market - that is GMV, our the assessment is that it should be a high price, 20% plus, even 25% increase in the market value, of course, very much fueled by inflation, which will certainly be double-digit, ”said Aleksandrowicz during the press conference.

Established in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska in Poland, InPost has a network of parcel lockers in Poland, Great Britain and Italy, and also provides courier and fullfilment services for e-commerce sellers in Poland.
