InPost introduced the InPost Shop service in the UK as part of a partnership with Vinted

InPost has expanded its strategic partnership with Vinted in 2022 by launching InPost Shop, a new parcel collection service in the UK. InPost Shop gives Vinted users the opportunity to send and receive parcels not only in the network of over 5,000 Paczkomaty devices, but also at PUDO InPost points, the company announced.

Vinted, whose services are used by over eight million customers in the UK, conducted a test of the new InPost Shop service at the beginning of this year. Its result confirmed that the demand for out-of-home (OOH) parcel delivery is growing. It is all the more important that InPost has a rapidly growing demand for its services in Great Britain – in 2021-2022, the volume of parcels handled by InPost increased by 151% y/y, it was reported.

“We are constantly looking for ways to increase the satisfaction of e-commerce customers using InPost services in the UK. This is why we are introducing the new InPost Shop service and our partnership with Vinted is gaining new momentum. The new offer also allows you to increase network capacity to meet the growing demand for InPost services. In addition, in some areas where the installation of parcel machines is difficult due to space constraints, we can add additional parcel collection points for our growing number of over 2 million customers. This is another milestone in the implementation of InPost’s strategy, which aims to be the largest ‘out of home’ operator in the UK,” said InPost International CEO Michael Rouse, quoted in the release.

By launching a pan-European delivery partnership, InPost and Vinted have expanded their geographical reach to meet the growing needs of both sellers and buyers, the material highlights.

In the second quarter of 2022, InPost launched a “Locker-to-Locker” parcel service between Parcel Lockers in Great Britain.

“Its success is evidenced by the huge interest from consumers. After the introduction of this delivery method, the demand for InPost services more than doubled quarter on quarter, and then increased by another 31% between Q4 2022 and Q1 2023. Thus, over 2 million customers in the UK already use the possibility of sending or deliveries to InPost Paczkomaty devices.

Now, the new InPost Shop service provides UK shoppers with even more convenience by offering more locations where they can drop off or pick up a parcel using a QR or PIN code, added.

InPost is a delivery platform for e-commerce. Founded in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska in Poland, InPost has a network of parcel machines in Poland, Great Britain and Italy, and also provides courier and fulfillment services for e-commerce sellers in Poland.
