InPost introduced the InPost Fresh service in Katowice, Czeladź, Sosnowiec and Mysłowice

InPost has expanded the network of Polish cities, whose residents can order their purchases via the InPost Fresh application - to Katowice, Sosnowiec, Czeladź and Mysłowice, the company said. Previously, this service was available to customers from Warsaw, Kraków and Łódź. In all new cities, shopping with delivery can be made in Carrefour hypermarkets.

“The InPost Fresh application allows you to easily, quickly and without leaving your home make everyday purchases, which will be delivered the next day by an InPost courier with dedicated transport at a controlled temperature. […] Although Carrefour is the second partner for InPost Fresh, it now offers its products in the largest number of cities. Importantly, this format is also open to other companies with whom we are constantly talking, ”said the president of InPost, Rafał Brzoska, quoted in the release.

Currently, there are over 11,000 products available from the Carrefour chain and over 9,800 from the Makro chain, which offers its products in Warsaw and Łódź.

“The expansion of the InPost Fresh service for Carrefour customers in other cities brings us even closer to achieving the ambitious goal of tripling the GMV index that the Carrefour Group has set for itself in the area of e-commerce operations - according to the assumption this indicator is to amount to EUR 10 billion in 2026. The partnership with InPost in the field of m-commerce allows us not only to significantly increase the range of our online grocery shopping offer, but also significantly accelerate the time of their implementation and delivery to the final customer "- added the director of operations and e-commerce development at Carrefour Polska Marek Garus.

InPost is a delivery platform for e-commerce. Established in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska in Poland, InPost has a network of parcel lockers in Poland, Great Britain and Italy, and also provides courier and fullfilment services for e-commerce sellers in Poland. In July 2021, he finalized the acquisition of the French company Mondial Relay. In January 2021, InPost made its debut on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange.
