InPost has signed an agreement to install Paczkomat devices at Repsol stations – a Spanish tycoon in the sale of petroleum products – throughout Spain, InPost reported.
“We are very proud of the agreement with Repsol. It will allow us to reach rural areas and areas far from large urban centers, as well as dramatically increase the number of parcel locker devices we have in Spain,” said Nicola D’Elia, general director of the InPost group in Spain, Portugal and Italy, quoted in the release.
InPost has over 5,000 PUDO points and parcel locker machines in Spain, and now it will expand its reach by leaps and bounds thanks to the agreement with Repsol. Thus, it has the largest network of its own delivery and collection points in this country. The company currently has over 50,000 PUDOs in approximately nine countries where it operates, which makes InPost the largest hybrid network of OOH delivery points in Europe, it was emphasized.
“Thanks to the InPost parcel locker devices, the number of users using the station’s services who come to collect their orders is increasing. Many of them generate cross-sells – which means they buy other products in the process. This will help the Repsol network position our stations as a place where you can find a wide range of products and at the same time collect or send parcels,” explained Alicia Cruzado from Repsol.
InPost is a delivery platform for e-commerce. Founded in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska in Poland, InPost operates a network of parcel lockers in Poland, Great Britain and Italy, and also provides courier and fulfillment services for e-commerce sellers in Poland. In July 2021, it finalized the acquisition of the French company Mondial Relay. In January 2021, InPost debuted on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange.
