InPost concluded an agreement with Łódź regarding the implementation of the Green City program

InPost has concluded an agreement with the city of Łódź on the implementation of the “Green City” concept, under which InPost will offer a package of modern services, the company said. This concept will reduce CO2 emissions and car traffic in city centers.
The inhabitants of Łódź will soon have access, among others, to to 70 new InPost parcel locker locations, as well as to a wider range of city services, including electric car chargers. As part of the agreement, InPost will gradually increase the fleet of electric cars in Łódź, so as to achieve full zero emission in the time agreed with the city, it was announced.

InPost is the largest logistics operator in Poland, in which American investment funds Advent International and KKR have invested. The company offers courier services and deliveries via the nationwide InPost parcel locker network for individual and institutional customers, including comprehensive services dedicated to the e-commerce industry. The number of InPost parcel lockers exceeded 10,770 devices at the end of 2020. In January 2021, InPost debuted on the Euronext Amsterdam exchange.
