Anyone who has an idea for an innovative product or service and sets up a business in one of the voivodships of Eastern Poland may apply for support at the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. As part of the Start-up Platforms program, he will receive expert help, thanks to which he will develop his idea into a profitable business model. After the end of the incubation stage, it can also apply for further funding in the amount of PLN 1 million to start serial production and expansion. – In the current edition of the Start-up Platforms, approx. 900 start-ups have already completed the incubation program and are ready to implement their products on the market – says Sebastian Wojewódzki from PARP.
“Start-up Platforms is an incubation program dedicated to natural persons who have an innovative business idea and want to implement this idea in the macroregion of Eastern Poland” – says Sebastian Wojewódzki, specialist in the Startup Development Department at PARP. “Platforms allow start-ups and entrepreneurs to verify their idea at no cost and check whether it has a chance for market success. Thanks to this, this first step towards business is not difficult, and after the incubation process is completed, the start-up is well prepared to implement the product for mass sale.”
Start-up Platforms is a project implemented under Measure 1.1.1 of the Eastern Poland Operational Program. It has a total budget of PLN 108.4 million, intended for the incubation of start-ups in the region. Any originator who has an idea for an innovative product or service and sets up a business in one of the voivodships of Eastern Poland (Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Świętokrzyskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie), can receive expert help from the Start-up Platforms, thanks to which they will develop their idea into profitable business model. The platforms are coordinated by animators and innovation centers operating in the region.
