Huta Stalowa Wola will soon receive PLN 1.2 billion for investments

Huta Stalowa Wola, which is one of the largest defense industry plants in Poland, will soon receive PLN 1.2 billion for pro-development investments, announced Deputy Minister of State Assets Andrzej Śliwka. In June, the government transferred the announced PLN 600 million to Huta.

“Further pro-development investments are planned in the near future. Huta Stalowa Wola will receive as much as PLN 1,200 million for their implementation,” said Śliwka in Stalowa Wola.

The planned subsidy is to contribute to increasing the production capacity of the Steelworks. They are produced here, e.g. “Krab” cannon-howitzers and “Rak” mortars. Production under a foreign license is also planned, e.g. K9 Thunder howitzer.

Production of “Krab” howitzers is ensured until 2027.

This month, the government provided Huta with PLN 600 million for further investments.

In the years 2016-2022, the value of contracts signed by the company amounted to over PLN 16 billion.
