Honeywell will open its new factory in Chorzów in April this year. Over 100 people will be employed there. The plant will produce advanced warehouse automation equipment that will support leading global companies.
The new plant, which is scheduled to open in April 2021, will employ 100 people this year. It will be the second large Honeywell facility in Silesia opened in the last two years. In 2019, the Honeywell customer service center for Europe was established in Katowice, which currently employs 300 experts in customer service as well as technical and administrative support.
The Honeywell factory in Chorzów will produce a number of equipment for automating warehouses and distribution centers of logistics companies, including conveyor belts, sorting systems, palletizers and robots, automated storage and retrieval systems, as well as sound or light-guided lifting systems.
