3S Data Center, part of the Play Group, will enable online purchase and configuration of cloud services. The company will enable customers to order and manage solutions and services using an auto-provisioning system, the company said.
Provisioning is an information technology that facilitates the provision of telecommunications services to customers. The systems automate the processes of creating, activating and deactivating services for cable TV operators, Internet networks, VoIP and mobile operators. The solution performs operations on all domain subsystems that are related to the existing hardware and service infrastructure of the operator. Provisioning can work standalone or as part of an integrated system, offering a graphical user interface and integration APIs for mass automation of operations.
“Process automation is one of the company’s strategic development goals, which is why we want to have a tool that will handle this area in a professional manner. Already after the completion of the first stage of introducing the new solution, the automation will cover the registration and handling of orders related to VEEAM services. We decided to take this step because 3S Data Center has been cooperating with VEEAM as a Platinum Partner for many years and recently, we have once again received the award for the best sales in the VCSP model, this time for 2022,” said Monika Roś, CEO of 3S Data Center Gruszczyk, quoted in the communiqué.
“Due to the scale of the contract, we divided the project into three key stages. In the first one, we will focus on servicing the sale of VEEAM solutions. We plan to finalize it at the turn of Q2 and Q3 this year. The second stage will cover the handling of services and billing related to the Virtual Data Center, and the final stage is mainly the development of the partner area within the platform. The second and third stages will premiere in 2024.” – said the president of merce.com – the company responsible for the implementation of the solution – Paweł Jaczewski.
