Greenway Polska will invest PLN 330 million by 2026 and build 825 charging stations

GreenWay Polska plans to invest PLN 330 million in the development of the charging network by 2026, the company said. By that time, the company will build 825 charging stations with 1.5 thousand. car charging points, of which 70 stations (120 points) will be built in 2022.

These plans cover only own stations, i.e. those built and owned by the company. GreenWay Polska estimates that it will simultaneously connect several hundred partner stations to the network, ”reads the release.

GreenWay Polska will also replace this year. 60 charging stations with a power of 50 kW for devices with much more power. Most of the new stations installed in the public GreenWay network will have a capacity of 150 kW, and, where possible, 200 kW. The only exception may be locations where it is not possible to install chargers of this power due to energy infrastructure.

“150 kW charging stations are now our standard for new investments, although we also plan to install 200 kW stations in selected locations. Taught by the experience gained so far in the field of drivers' needs, our development plans also include charging hubs, i.e. places where electro-electric lines will have at their disposal at least several charging points. We have already launched several facilities of this type, and several dozen more are in the pipeline, ”said CEO Rafał Czyżewski, quoted in the press release.

Currently, nearly 50 thousand people are registered in the GreenWay network. drivers who download over 850,000 monthly kWh of energy. The company's network in Poland has 910 charging points installed in 460 stations, of which 450 points allow for quick DC charging. Together with the stations in Slovakia, the company's network totals 1,250 points.

GreenWay Polska manages the largest publicly accessible network of fast charging stations for electric vehicles in Poland. GreenWay chargers are also available in Slovakia.
