GoldenPeaks Capital (GPC) acquired 283 MW of ready-to-build (RtB) photovoltaic assets in the last quarter of 2023, and plans to acquire another 150 MW of RtB assets before the end of the year, which will allow the company to achieve a total capacity of approximately 433 MW during this quarter, the company said.
This will enable GPC to achieve its goal of building another 1 GW of solar assets in Poland in 2024, it was announced.
Most photovoltaic sites are located in the western and northwestern regions of Poland, covering various sizes up to 10 MW.
“Our acquisitions team has worked tirelessly to close numerous acquisitions and will continue to do so through the end of the year to complete the remaining acquisitions. When added to our existing portfolio, these assets will provide an even more solid base to execute our construction plan
1 GW in the Polish construction pipeline by 2024,” said GPC President Daniel Tain, quoted in the release.
