Frigo Logistics has started the construction of a new distribution and warehouse complex in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, which is part of the company’s broader investment plan, which assumes the allocation of over PLN 200 million for the development of operations in the coming years, the company announced. The first stage of the investment will be commissioned in October 2024. Due to the growing needs of the market, Frigo Logistics also wants to expand the existing facility in Żnin.
The company has signed a contract with the general contractor, which is Kajima Poland, which is part of a global construction corporation with Japanese roots.
“The investment in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki is one of the key elements of a broader investment plan worth PLN 200 million, which we will implement in the coming years. We entrusted the execution of our new distribution center to Kajima Poland with the conviction that the experience of its specialists in the implementation of large industrial facilities and professionalism will allow for the implementation of this demanding project on time. We will carry out the first warehouse operations in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki as early as October 2024,” said Frigo Logistics CEO Kris Verbruggen, quoted in the release.
The company explained that the facility that Frigo Logistics is building in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki will offer 21,000 sqm. pallet places. In the first phase of the investment, which will be completed in October 2024, a distribution section for 6,000 sq m will be built. pallet places. The complex, which is being developed by Kajima Poland, will be the 11th location of Frigo Logistics in Poland and an important point in the development of the distribution network.
