FBSerwis continues work on two acquisitions and expects good results in 2023

FBSerwis from the Budimex Group continues to work on two acquisitions and maintains the prospect of achieving good results this year, informed acting President Marcin Węgłowski.

“The matter is being clarified by state authorities. I want to point out that this applies only to private individuals, it does not apply to the proceedings of the company itself. […] The company is operating as before, there is no risk or threat to operations. We continue our operations, perform contracts, participate in tenders and, above all, continue our acquisitions,” said Węgłowski during the press conference, referring to earlier information about the procedural steps taken against the suspended president of FBSerwis.

“In our opinion, the good results that are [expected] for 2023 are not at risk,” he added.

In 2022, FBSerwis had PLN 818 million in revenues compared to PLN 780 million a year earlier and PLN 146 million in EBITDA (compared to PLN 131 million in 2021).

Earlier, the president of Budimex, Artur Popko, declared that FBSerwis is still being developed.

“We have purchased a waste processing company, at the moment we are recognizing and working on two more companies, we are also developing organically and expanding the company’s portfolio” – he pointed out.

FBSerwis is a company that is part of the Budimex Group, which performs contracts covering: services in the field of waste management, technical maintenance of buildings and industrial facilities, modernization of lighting infrastructure and ongoing maintenance of national roads and motorways as well as internal customer roads.

Budimex has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1995. Its strategic investor is the Spanish company Ferrovial. In 2022, it had PLN 8.62 billion in consolidated revenue.
