Famur continues PV push with sale of electricity deal for almost PLN 150 million

Famur Group, acting with Projekt Solartechnik, concluded an agreement with Energa Obrót for the sale of electricity. It is an important step in the company’s transformation from a coal-mining machinery group.

The total estimated value of the contract during its term, i.e. until December 31, 2024, will amount to approximately PLN 143 million. At the same time, Famur strengthens its exposure in the PV segment, including winning another 100+ MW of projects in the June auction of the Energy Regulatory Office.

“The dynamically developing sector of solar power plants, and in particular the offer for business, allows us to implement the set strategic assumptions, but also to effectively diversify our activities in the field of green energy. The extensive experience and know-how of Famur, together with the competences of Projekt Solartechnik, allow us to look optimistically at the future of the transformation that is currently taking place” – says Mirosław Bendzera, CEO of the Famur Group.

The assumption of the new direction of development of the Famur Group is to achieve a minimum of 70 percent by 2024. revenues from the non-coal area – including renewable energy, transport and logistics, and from the opportunities and benefits of the global transition to low-carbon economies. The first step in implementing these decisions was the consolidation of the potential of three companies: Famur Group, TDJ and Projekt Solartechnik.
