POLAND Kaufland Polska has taken out a EUR 100 mln loan from the European Investment Bank for its previously announced plans to renovate around 50 stores in Poland.
These include the replacement of furnishings, the use of energy-efficient systems such as LED lighting, energy-efficient refrigerators, new store section labelling, the installation of self-service checkouts and improvements to the car park.
