Ericsson to hire 350 people in mobile R&D research push

Among the people sought for the development of mobile technologies are mainly programmers, system architects, testers as well as project managers. Together with the Mayor of the City of Łódź, a conference was held on the development plans of Ericsson’s R&D center.

The company focuses on the development of its research units in Poland and intends to employ 350 more people in them in the near future. Currently, over 1700 people work in the company’s facilities in Łódź and Kraków, and this is the second Ericsson center of this type in Europe after the parent facility in Sweden.

“In our R&D Center in Łódź and Kraków, we will employ people with experience in the telecommunications sector. In our projects, we use solutions based on C ++, Java, .Net, Erlang and Python technologies, as well as Golang, Groovy or Cloud technology. We hire new programmers and testers to develop teams from 2G to 6G, ”says Stefan Znarowski, new head of Ericsson’s R&D center.

Ericsson in Poland also cooperates with the academic community, start-ups, enterprises and telecommunications operators to enable the first industries in Poland to implement new products and services based on 5G technology.
