Employment agency Spek opens another office in Uzbekistan and announces its entry into other eastern markets later this year. According to the president, Przemysław Hermański, this is a continuation of the previously chosen direction of Spek’s development, to bring qualified staff with a similar culture to Poland from Asian regions.

In the last quarter, Spek was the first Polish company to open its branch in Armenia. Employees from this country are already starting normal work in Polish factories, the president informed.

“In Armenia or Uzbekistan, the vast majority of residents can communicate in Russian. In addition, among others, citizens of these nationalities are responsible for the development of the construction industry of the Asian giant. This ensures highly skilled workers who are not exploited by any market. Therefore, the year 2023 will pass under the banner of expansion, and it will certainly be more than one new office opened by us outside Poland,” said Hermański, quoted in the release.

According to the data of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy (MRiPS) cited by the company, in 2022, 365.5 thousand were issued in Poland. work permits for foreigners. The largest group were Ukrainians (over 85,000), followed by employees from India (over 41,600), Uzbekistan (over 33,000) and Turkey (about 25,000). Employees from such distant countries as Nepal, Bangladesh and the Philippines are also a growing group.
