Elektrotim wants to participate in the construction of nuclear power plants in Poland as a contractor, CEO Ariusz Bober announced. “We would like to take part in the construction of nuclear power plants in Poland. As we know, there will be two: one American and one Korean. It is still a long way off, because one is to be built in 2033, the other in 2036 - so we have 10 years for it. But today we have plans to go to both contractors and introduce ourselves as contractors for electrical, IT and automation work in such facilities,” said Bober during the press conference. Elektrotim has not worked on the construction of a nuclear power plant so far. "In terms of work, these are quite typical works, as in classic power plants, and it's time to start being active in this area" - said the president. In the near future, Elektrotim counts on orders in the growing domestic military investments and NATO investments in Poland and as part of the energy transformation, i.e. in the structural investments planned in the Polish Energy Policy 2040 (PEP 2040), as stated in the presentation. Elektrotim specializes in the execution of electrical installations and automation systems for construction and industry. The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2007. In 2021, it had PLN 277 million in consolidated revenue. Source
