The creators of Droplabs – tools to start ticket sales – raised PLN 3 million for further project development. The start-up from Krakow obtained funds for the further development of the project from the funds of Xevin Investments, Protos Next and Blue Media S.A.
Droplabs is a startup that offers its product in the SaaS model. It enables companies, mainly from the tourist attractions industry, to sell online services through their own channels and through business partners – cooperating hotels or external portals. The value of the tourist attractions market in Poland alone is over PLN 8.5 billion. Droplabs estimates that the entities responsible for generating about two-thirds of this amount do not yet have systems that allow the sale of online tickets. For those who do, the online channel still accounts for only a small percentage of the total sales volume.
The start-up took its first steps in 2017 thanks to its founders: Marta Pyznarska, Piotr Pyznarski and Kamil Rotnicki. The creators of the project previously held positions in companies such as Brainly, Polskie ePłatności or the Asian Easyship. Capital support will enable further expansion of the Droplabs team with experienced specialists and managers.
