Movens VC, together with a group of business angels, invested PLN 5 million in DevSkiller, a Warsaw-based company, the company announced.
“In previous investment rounds, the company has already managed to raise a total of approx. PLN 10 million. The DevSkiller platform is a modern solution for managing the skills of employees from the areas of HR tech, upskilling and reskilling. The startup is not slowing down – it recently delivered its comprehensive tool to Orange Polska, thanks to which it will map all the company’s employees by the end of the year.
In 2022, DevSkiller’s revenues amounted to PLN 10 million, and this year the company expects an increase to PLN 20 million. Over 50% of the company’s revenue comes from the USA. The HR tech solution is used by companies such as Deloitte, Orange Warsaw, Schneider Electric and Roche.
“We reinvest our profit in new tools. We are redefining how organizations around the world assess, map, manage and develop digital skills. And the demand for our technology is growing dynamically – part of the global HR Tech market related to re- and up-skilling is already worth over PLN 200 million. After starting cooperation with Orange Polska, we are preparing for new partnerships with companies from the telecommunications and finance industries. In 2024, we are preparing for further expansion on the American market. Our strategy also includes cooperation with global consulting companies, and the decision of Movens VC to provide us with funds and substantive support will allow us to implement it effectively,” said DevSkiller CEO Jakub Kubryński, quoted in the release.
DevSkiller is a skills assessment and management platform. It enables the construction of reskilling processes and enables companies to comprehensively implement a skills-based operating model.
