DataWalk was listed in four Gartner Hype Cycle reports this year, the company said. DataWalk believes that the Gartner statement indicates that the demand for technologies such as DataWalk could increase dramatically in the coming years.
“We are very proud to be recognized by Gartner. It’s great to see that DataWalk is in the early mainstream across all categories, which we believe reflects the fact that the demand for technologies like DataWalk could dramatically increase in the coming years as they become mainstream,” said DataWalk’s CEO. Paweł Wieczyński, quoted in the communiqué.
According to the Gartner Hype Cycle for Data and Analytics Programs and Practices, 2023, “graph analytics can often be the only effective way to analyze data, especially when you need to identify connections and relationships between data,” it also stated.
“In terms of business impact, the same report identifies graph technology as ‘highly effective in risk assessment for fraud analysis, clustering, outlier detection’ and great for ‘identifying anomalies and unusual patterns that cannot be detected by other methods’ – we read further.
Gartner creates Hype Cycle reports to assess the maturity and potential of new technologies in various sectors of the IT market. They provide a framework for understanding the different stages of implementing new technologies and support purchasing decisions.
“DataWalk made it into Hype Cycle reports for the first time this year, and straight into four categories:
· Hype Cycle for Analytics and Business Intelligence, 2023 (Graph Analytics)
· Hype Cycle for Data and Analytics Programs and Practices, 2023 (Graph Analytics)
· Hype Cycle for Public Safety and Law Enforcement, 2023 (Public Safety Predictive Analytics)
· Hype Cycle for Digital Government Services, 2023 (Predictive Analytics in Government)
Gartner recognized DataWalk as an “early mainstream” technology in all categories.
