Creotech is among the entities that will create a quantum computer in Poland

European High Performance Computing Joint Undetaking, based in Luxembourg, has selected six countries in which the European Union quantum computer network will be created: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and Poland. Creotech Instruments is among the entities that will create such a computer in Poland, the company said.

The aim of the project, worth a total of EUR 100 million, is to place and integrate quantum computers with supercomputing systems in these countries. The installation, integration and provision of a quantum computer is planned in the HPC infrastructure
Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) affiliated with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In parallel to this project, the Creotech team is currently involved in the development of the first large quantum computer for the European Commission. The project is progressing according to plan, it was underlined.

Creotech Instruments is the largest Polish company producing and delivering to the global market space technologies as well as specialized electronics and apparatus, incl. for quantum computers, quantum cryptography or quantum physics and high energy laboratories. The company made its debut on the main market of the WSE in July 2022, moving from the NewConnect market.
