Creotech chose the Exolaunch offer to launch the EagleEye microsatelite into orbit

Creotech Instruments selected a contractor to launch the company's first microsatellite into orbit as part of the EagleEye project, the company said. As part of the tender procedure, the German company Exolaunch was selected, which is an integrator of services for Elon Musk - SpaceX, and it is with the help of this company's rocket - Falcon 9 - that the first Creotech Instruments microsatellite will most likely be launched. According to the company's plans, the EagleEye satellite will go into orbit in the fourth quarter of 2023.

The value of the offer was EUR 641,400 net. The capital for the development of this space project comes from, among others from completed in June this year. Creotech's public offering for a total amount of approximately PLN 40 million, it was announced.

Since 2020 Creotech Instruments has been developing the design of the 50-kilogram observation satellite "EagleEye" within its own platform in the HyperSat standard. The platform allows you to carry out various types of missions, from technological and scientific, through observation and telecommunications missions, to deep space missions. HyperSat is designed to implement satellites weighing from 10 to 60 kg.

“Two missions are currently being prepared on our proprietary HyperSat platform. The first one will be EagleEye. I am proud to be the leader of this pioneering endeavor. Our specialists are doing their best to make the launch of the EagleEye microsatellite into orbit around the Earth in the fourth quarter of 2023. " - said the president of Croetech Instruments Grzegorz Brona, quoted in the press release.

The "EagleEye" project is being developed as part of a program financed by the National Center for Research and Development. The platform will be armed with an optical telescope. The computer's subsystems are prepared by the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the on-board optical telescope is developed by the Scanway company. The project is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements developed by NASA, implemented by the European Space Agency and according to the European Cooperation for Space Standardization standards.

Creotech Instruments is the largest Polish company producing and delivering to the global market space technologies and specialized electronics and apparatus, incl. for quantum computers, quantum cryptography or quantum physics and high energy laboratories. The company made its debut on the NewConnect market in October 2021.
