Ciech Pianki plans to launch a 0.3 MW PV installation by the end of 2023

Ciech Pianki – a company from the Ciech Group – plans to expand its photovoltaic installation with a capacity of approx. 100 kW by another 300 kW by the end of 2023, Ciech announced. As a result, the total power of PV installations installed in the Ciech Group companies is to reach 0.6 MW. The group’s plant in Romania also has photovoltaic installations. The power of the Ciech Soda Romania PV installation is currently approximately 400 kW. Ultimately, the Ciech Group intends to install photovoltaics in all its companies.

The Ciech Group is one of the leaders of the European chemical market. It is the second largest producer of soda ash (used in the production of glass) in Europe and at the same time the only producer of this substance in Poland. Since 2005, Ciech has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Its consolidated revenues amounted to PLN 5.42 billion in 2022.
