Bumech had PLN 403.96 million in net profit, and PLN 216.53 million in EBIT in 2021

Bumech recorded PLN 403.96 million of consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in 2021 compared to PLN 1.57 million of profit a year earlier, the company said in the report.

The operating profit amounted to PLN 216.53 million versus PLN 3.49 million profit a year earlier.

Consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 427.12 million in 2021 compared to PLN 78.62 million a year earlier.

"In connection with the purchase of shares in Przedsiębiorstwo Górniczego 'Silesia' (PGS), the core business of the group is the mining and sale of hard coal. In 2021, preparatory work was resumed at the Silesia mine, which was stopped by the previous shareholder in October 2020. As a result, three longwall mining lines are currently in operation, allowing the company to take full advantage of the good situation in coal, which is accompanied by an increase in the prices of this raw material. The mine has excavated seven faces, i.e. pavements 300, 300a and the tops of wall 300 in deck 310 and slipway 107, walkway 124, 124a and the tops of wall 124 in deck 327. Currently, work is underway on walkways 341, 341a in deck 312, and walkways 330 and 330a in deck 330 ”- we read in the management report.

On a standalone basis, the net profit in 2021 was PLN 40.04 million, compared to PLN 1.58 million in profit a year earlier.

Bumech is a machine-building company that provides mining services. The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2009. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 427 million in 2021.
