Budimex aims to maintain profitability y / y in 2022

Budimex will try to maintain a profitability similar to that of 2021 this year, where it amounted to 7%, after an increase from 5.5% a year earlier, said President Artur Popko. The company's ambition is also that the order portfolio at the end of 2022 should not be lower on a year-to-year basis.
“It is a very good profitability. We will try to maintain a very similar profitability in 2022 to the current one in 2021, ”Popko said during a press conference.

“We have a very diversified portfolio. I am not afraid that the margin of the entire company will start to decline. Our goal is to improve the margin and profitability of sales. We will do everything to achieve even better profitability in the coming years, ”he added.

The order ortfel of the Budimex Group amounted to PLN 12.97 billion at the end of 2021, compared to PLN 12.72 billion at the end of 2020. The value of contracts signed by the Budimex Group in 2021 amounted to PLN 7 billion compared to PLN 8.98 billion in 2020.

Budimex has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 1995. Its strategic investor is the Spanish company Ferrovial. In 2021, it had PLN 7.91 billion in consolidated revenues.
