Brand24 has decided to start a review of strategic options to find an entity that will enable it to strengthen its position in foreign markets and scale up, the company announced.
“The review of strategic options will include an analysis of optimal solutions for the issuer’s further development and the implementation of the Brand24 Group’s strategic goals, i.e. primarily growth of the company’s value and strengthening the issuer’s position on the international arena by increasing the scale and effectiveness of activities focused on acquiring customers, which in turn should also lead to an increase in shareholder value.
During the review, the company will take into account possible scenarios leading to the acceleration of the development of its business activities, including a potential strategic partnership with another entity, obtaining a strategic or financial investor or conducting a transaction with a different structure, as well as a possible lack of activities related to the above-mentioned activities. possible scenarios are listed.
In connection with the above, the issuer does not exclude the possibility of establishing cooperation with a qualified advisor who will support the company in the process of reviewing strategic options.
At the same time, the company emphasizes that no decisions related to the selection of a specific strategic option have been made so far and it is not certain whether and when such a decision will be made.
“The company is developing dynamically and our revenues increased by approx. 40% last year. But the ambitions are even greater. We have a fantastic, technologically advanced product. We are convinced that we can compete effectively on foreign markets, especially in the USA. That is why we are considering a development path related to a partner that will allow us to dramatically increase the scale of our operations. We are not looking for financing, but for an entity that has a large base of customers compatible with our solutions and will provide actual synergy or cross-selling opportunities,” said Michał Sadowski, co-founder and president of Brand24, quoted in the release.
According to the assumptions, Brand24 is to complete the review of options by the end of 2023 at the latest.
Brand24 is the owner of a proprietary tool for protecting the reputation and monitoring content on the Internet. The tool is sold globally in the SaaS (Software as a Service) model. Brand24 is used by both large global brands and small and medium-sized enterprises interested in opinions about themselves on the Internet. The company debuted on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange in May 2021, moving from the NewConnect market.
