Boryszew: The waste treatment line will bring up to PLN 10 million in annual EBITDA

The Boryszew Group has launched an investment in the construction of a post-industrial waste treatment line with a capacity of 10 thousand tonnes. tonnes per year in Konin, said president Wojciech Kowalczyk, ISBnews. The project is to bring up to PLN 10 million annually from 2025.

“The investment has started, we are currently obtaining the necessary approvals and permits. The first start-up should take place at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025, depending on environmental approvals. I expect that ultimately this installation will bring an EBITDA result of up to PLN 10 million per year, ”said Kowalczyk in an interview with ISBnews.

The Boryszew Group, as previously announced, has also started the assembly of the first photovoltaic installations on the roofs of its plants in Poland.

"The first panels will appear at the plants in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Toruń and Chełmek, currently with a total capacity of less than 1 MW, but in the next 2 years I expect that PV installations will be present at virtually all of the group's plants in Poland and will have total capacity of 6-8 MW ”- summarized the president.
