“B-INFINIT will support the global business units of BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) such as: Securities Services (handling operations on securities), Global Banking (corporate banking) and IT Production (maintenance and development of IT infrastructure)” – we read in the material.

“The creation of the first IT Hub in Poland proves that BNP Paribas CIB continues to strengthen its operational activities, in line with the GTS 2025 strategy of the BNP Paribas Group. We value the stability of the Polish market and the development conditions it offers, e.g. due to the high competence of IT specialists,” commented COO Dimitri Thomas, quoted in the release.

The institution said that recruitment has already started. In the first stage, people with at least several years of experience in the IT industry are sought.

The name B-INFINIT refers to the name of BNP Paribas (B) and emphasizes the international nature of the Hub (INternational), the area of finance in which it operates (FINance), and its scope of activity (IT), explained.

The BNP Paribas banking group includes i.a. BNP Paribas Bank Polska, a universal bank listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
