In the last days before the Christmas break, the Biedronka chain opens another 20 branches for customers, 17 of which are completely new stores and 3 – renovated with customer convenience in mind. New stores of the chain were opened on December 18-21 in the Masovian, Podlaskie, Łódź, Podkarpackie, Lubusz, Silesian, Greater Poland, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Pomeranian and West Pomeranian voivodeships, it was announced.
“The pre-Christmas time is the moment when, like every year, we make sure that customers can find all the products they need in Biedronka stores. At the end of November, we opened store 3500 in Skórzewo near Poznań, and in the last week before Christmas, another 20 stores appeared on the map of Poland. With our customers’ needs in mind, we also extend opening hours before the holidays – over 3.1 thousand. branches will be open on Saturday at least until 11 p.m. to ensure convenient and quick shopping, without stress and queues,” said Paweł Stolecki, operational director and board member of the Biedronka chain, quoted in the release.
Earlier, Biedronka announced that it had launched its 3,500th store in Skórzewo near Poznań. At the end of Q3 2023, the Biedronka chain in Poland had 3,473 branches.
