Benefit Systems obtained PLN 205 million in financing from the EBRD and Santander BP

Benefit Systems and some of its subsidiaries have signed five-year financing agreements for PLN 205 million with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Santander Bank Polska, the company said. Financing may be additionally increased by an amount of up to PLN 35 million.

The financing can be used for investment expenses related to the organic development of the capital group, development of the MultiLife platform, acquisitions, ecological investments, refinancing of existing debt in the form of bank loans in Poland and for general corporate purposes, mentioned.

“We are very pleased that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has decided to support the development of our Group by providing us with financing for new investments. We also thank our long-term partner, Santander Bank Polska, for their trust. For two years, we have faced the challenges of the pandemic. We hope that this stage is behind us - we recorded a very good start to the year, we are rebuilding the results, including successively increasing the customer and user base. We also see the growing importance of a healthy and active lifestyle after the pandemic. This is the moment when we direct our commitment to new products, development and investments. We are convinced that with such excellent partners as the EBRD and Santander and with the financing provided, the foundations for the development of our Group are even more stable, ”said Bartosz Józefiak, member of the Management Board of Benefit Systems, quoted in the announcement.
