Arval has a contract with DHL Express Polska for the rental of 33 electric Fords

Arval Service Lease Polska from the BNP Paribas Group has concluded a long-term lease agreement for electric vans with DHL Express Polska, Arval reported. The logistics company’s fleet will be expanded by 33 Ford E-Transit vehicles.

“In recent years, we have put great emphasis on the development of the electric van rental offer. Today we are observing a very large increase in interest in renting cars from this segment. This form of financing is eagerly chosen by courier companies, because it allows you to quickly modernize the fleet and start its energy transformation, without large, one-time outlays. Zero-emission vehicles are definitely the future of transport and we are very happy that customers are choosing such cars more and more often,” said Agnieszka Gołaszewska, Sales Director of Arval Service Lease Polska, quoted in the release.

“As a global leader in air cargo, we feel obligated to work proactively to reduce the impact of our sector on the environment. At the same time, we can see that both individual consumers and businesses are increasingly willing to choose service providers who introduce pro-ecological solutions and strive for zero emissions. The use of electric vehicles, such as the Ford E-Transit, is not only a concern for the environment and a response to customer expectations, but also a real improvement in the work of couriers. They can move around the city faster and more efficiently using bus lanes and entering the so-called clean transport zones. What’s more, the cars are not as loud as their combustion counterparts, which is particularly important when fulfilling morning and night orders,” added Agnieszka Łukawczyk, Director of Operations at DHL Express Polska.

Arval specializes in the rental of vehicles with full service and in new solutions in the field of mobility. The total fleet leased by Arval consists of over 1.4 million vehicles worldwide (June 2021).
