Alumetal plans to complete 91 million pln expansion of Nowa Sól plant in Q4

Alumetal plans to complete the investment in the expansion of the department for automatic processing of scrap materials in Nowa Sól in the fourth quarter of this year, informed President Agnieszka Drzyżdżyk.

In the fourth quarter of this year, we plan to complete the expansion and launch the department for automatic processing of scrap materials at the plant in Nowa Sól. The works are advanced, ”said Drzyżdżyk during the conference call.

The planned capital expenditure for the project is PLN 91 million, she recalled.

The Alumetal capital group operates in the foundry and metallurgical industry in the production of secondary aluminum, i.e. the production of aluminum casting alloys and primary alloys from aluminum scrap. The Alumetal Group is a national leader in this field and is the fourth largest producer of secondary aluminum alloys in Europe. The company has been listed on the WSE since July 2014. Its consolidated sales revenues reached PLN 1,061.6 million in 2020.
