Czech group Accolade expands western Poland warehousing portfolio

Czech industrial investor Accolade Group is continuing the expansion of its portfolio in western Poland by launching a new warehousing park in Jelenia Góra in Lower Silesia and expanding its existing park in Goleniów near Szczecin.
The Jelenia Góra park will comprise around 20,000 sqm, around half of which has already been leased. It is expected to come into operation in Q2 2022. Accolade’s Goleniów park is to be extended from around 28,000 sqm to 63,900 sqm. The investment costs of both projects will come to EUR 71 mln.

“When we chose the western part of Poland to enter the country, some people wondered why we didn’t go to Warsaw like other investors. However, I’m glad that we took this step and entered the western border region, which I saw at the time as having great potential for significant growth and progress. The region lies on the borders with Germany and the Czech Republic, boasts large cities with substantial workforces, solid transport infrastructure, and a cooperative local authorities. The current interest of companies to enter this area only confirms my initial assumptions.” said Milan Kratina, the CEO of Accolade.

Accolade Group currently owns 580,000 sqm of warehousing space near the western Polish border and plans to almost double the size of its portfolio in this region in the near future.
