Almost half of drivers (44%) believe that finding a parking space is a stressful experience, wasting an average of four days a year. Most cities implement intelligent parking systems, but these are not able to meet the growing needs. Another problem is the lack of citywide solutions for dispersed public and private parking providers. The Polish start-up Share.P has developed an innovative plug and play system that digitizes the existing parking infrastructure and solves the problems with parking cars and charging electric vehicles.
“Parking lots must become smart, because 38 percent of the city there is a parking lot. The problem is that it is such a gigantic space that in a city such as Wrocław it is 612,000 parking spaces that are completely not included in the city system. In Singapore it is 100 percent parking spaces, 100 percent ofplaces where you can keep a car at all” – says Mateusz Wojdyło, founder.
The Polish start-up Share.P has developed an innovative plug and play system that digitizes the existing parking infrastructure and solves the problems with parking cars and charging electric vehicles. By enabling owners of commercial and residential buildings to rent and provide parking spaces and EV charging points in a safe and automated manner, it is intended to reduce traffic congestion and reduce harmful emissions. It is enough to install the application to remotely open doors or barriers, search and reserve a parking space or charge the car.
“We came up with all the technology that allows you to book, enter, rent, sign a digital contract, all those things that are so necessary to enable the development of electromobility” – points out the founder of Share.P.
