EUR 30,000 in cash and the opportunity to present their idea to investors from around the world are waiting for startups that will take part in the Startup Contest – the largest CEE competition organized as part of the Infoshare conference, planned in Gdańsk. So far, 2500 startups from around the world have participated in it. Registration is ongoing.

Any startup can apply. The 30 best ideas will qualify for the semi-finals, which will have a chance to appear at one of the main stages of a stationary conference in Gdańsk and present themselves to international investors, representatives of VC funds and the largest corporations. Every year, more than 200 of them come to Infoshare. The international jury will evaluate, among others, business potential of the projects, team and innovation of the presented solutions. The top 3 startups will be awarded. The main prize is EUR 20,000 in cash. Second and third places will receive EUR 7,000 and EUR 3,000 respectively. The award is funded by the President of the City of Gdańsk, the Main Partner of the conference. Registration will last until July 31, 2021 on the Organiser’s website.

Participation in competitions is a chance for startups to show themselves to investors and the first step to international success like DocPlanner, Brainly or Booksy – Polish unicorns. “We have collaborated with a leading British biotechnology company as well as implementation in a large hospital. Currently, two global pharmaceutical groups are looking at us “- emphasizes Luís Valente CEO and co-founder of iLoF – winner of the previous edition of the Startup Contest

The conference is scheduled for October 14-15 at AmberExpo in Gdańsk. There are 5 thematic scenes waiting for participants, featuring experts from all over the world. Every year, Infoshare hosts hundreds of international speakers from Google, LinkedIn, IBM, Spotify, Slack and other technology-setting companies. A year ago, the stage appeared, among others Neil Patel – one of the TOP10 marketers according to Forbes and John Romero – the creator of legendary games like “Doom”.

Infoshare 2021 will take place under security measures, and the number of participants will depend on the pandemic restrictions announced by the government. In the case of a limit of participants, the order will be determined by the time of purchase and the type of ticket. Tickets are sold on the Organiser’s website.
