ZE PAK has a letter of intent with Rybnik regarding the investment in the Green Energy Center

ZE PAK has signed a letter of intent with the city of Rybnik regarding investments in the Center for Green Energy of the Western Subregion, the company said. ZE PAK plans to invest initially approx. PLN 0.5 billion in this project.

“We have common goals, the city is committed to providing high-quality municipal services while reducing the impact of pollution on the natural environment. My goal is to create my own municipal waste management system in a closed-loop system. On the other hand, the company wants to implement pro-ecological projects that can produce heat, electricity and hydrogen, hence the signing of a joint letter of intent today, which confirms our plans and assumptions. I am full of optimism for the implementation of this project, said the Mayor of Rybnik, Piotr Kuczera, quoted in the press release.

The ZE PAK Group operates in the area of lignite mining, as well as the generation and sale of electricity and heat. The company has been listed on the WSE since 2012. Its consolidated revenues amounted to PLN 2.21 billion in 2020.
