Zago Capital I to invest EUR 100 million in e-commerce businesses in the CEE region

Zago Capital I – an investment fund founded by Piotr Zagożdżon and Nadahl Shocair – will invest EUR 100 million in e-commerce businesses operating in the health and beauty segment, the fund said. By the end of 2023, the fund managers want to have 30 companies from the CEE region in their portfolio, and Poland is to be the leading country.

“We see the current trends. We observe a dynamic growth of the e-commerce sector and an even faster segment of health and beauty, which today is worth about PLN 8 billion, and by 2026 it will reach PLN 14 billion. I myself have companies operating in this area and I can see how the current market conditions are conducive to their development, which is why we decided to set up an investment fund together with Nadahl, ”said Piotr Zagożdżon, the main investor and vice president of Zago Capital I.
