After the decision to withdraw from Russia and Belarus, Wargaming takes the next step in the restructuring process, opening two new studios in Warsaw and Belgrade, i.e. the seventh and eighth offices in Europe (after Nicosia, Vilnius, Prague, Kiev, Guildford and Berlin), the company said. Both studies will employ up to 400 people. “Warsaw and Belgrade have been logical choices for new locations, both are developing rapidly in the technology sector and have enormous potential. We look forward to working with the IT communities in both cities to build best-in-class production and publishing units. Wargaming is developing with great plans for the future. Locations in Belgrade and Warsaw will be key to achieving our goals, said CEO Victor Kislyi, quoted in the press release. Wargaming Belgrade will employ international and local talent in game development and publishing, and will become a significant hub for relocating Wargaming employees from multiple locations in the future. The studio will focus on the "World of Tanks" and "World of Warships" franchises, underlined. On the other hand, Wargaming Warsaw will initially be a small publishing team, with plans for further development of the location depending on the continuation of the restructuring process. Wargaming is an international team with over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry. Source
