Torpol has a contract for a new Olsztyn Główny railway station for PLN 71 million

Polskie Koleje Państwowe SA (PKP SA) signed a contract with Torpol for the construction of a new Olsztyn Główny railway station for PLN 70.97 million gross, PKP reported. It is one of the largest investments under the Railway Station Investments Program for 2016-2023. The planned opening date of the facility for travelers is the second half of 2023.

“The construction of the new Olsztyn Główny railway station is the largest investment in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship under the Railway Station Investments Program for 2016-2023. Thanks to it, residents and tourists will gain an ultra-modern, eco-friendly station with an original appearance and shape, with a real city square combining communication and recreational functions. I am convinced that the new version of the station will become a showcase of Olsztyn and will perfectly fit into the urban fabric, ”said Ireneusz Maślany, member of the management board of PKP SA.
