DoxyChain is an application for managing and storing digital documents using blockchain technology. The creator of the solution is a young team of programmers and lawyers headed by 25-year-old Gabriel Dymowski. Currently, the start-up is looking for financing on foreign markets and plans to raise at least EUR 2 million by the end of the third quarter of this year. This budget will allow DoxyChain to scale its solution at European level.
DoxyChain was created as a solution for law firms. It was supposed to make it easier for them to issue, revoke and service powers of attorney. The starting point for the solution was Hackathon, specifically the Global Legal Hackathon, focusing on technologies for lawyers. “While working on the project, we wondered why so many documents in law offices are still not digitized. The lawyers we spoke to emphasized one thing: They said they did not trust the systems available and that they were not secure enough to go digital”, , said Dymowski.
