Żabka invest 4 million pln in Mięsna Paczka start-up

The Mięsna Paczka start-up obtained PLN 4.15 million in seed round funding. The investors include Grupa Żabka and two capital funds, LT Capital and CofounderZone, together with business angels. The funds obtained from the round will be used by Mięsna Paczka for business development on the Polish market.

The aim of the Meat Package is simple – it wants to provide the families in Poland with truly ecological meat from certified Polish farms. It is to be always fresh, safe, without antibiotics, hormones and without GMOs, and its composition and origin are guaranteed by the EU green leaf PL-EKO-09 certificate. What’s more, they can be easily and conveniently ordered home via the Internet.

“After 30, I wanted to eat healthier and limit the amount of meat consumed, paying particular attention to its quality. While looking for organic produce, I realized how hard it is to buy high-quality food, especially fresh organic meat. The idea for the Meat Package came from a need, and I set myself the task of making good products widely available and present on the tables of families in Poland” – says Damian Kopecki, the founder of the start-up.
