A new president of JSW has not been elected – his duties are still performed by Stanisław Prusek delegated by the council.
The recruitment procedure announced on July 12 concerned the position of the president of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa and his four deputies: for economic affairs, for trade, for development and for technical and operational matters. There were at least five candidates for each of these positions. In total, 29 applications were received, one of which did not meet the formal criteria.
On Friday, at the JSW headquarters, the Council interviewed candidates for the management board. As stated in the announcement published on Friday night, it was decided to appoint three vice-presidents of the company: Sebastian Bartos, who will be responsible for trade in the JSW management board, Robert Ostrowski, who will take care of economic affairs, and Edward Paździorko, who will take the position of vice-president for financial affairs. technical and operational.
