PGE sells its non-core hotel assets

Polski Holding Hotelowy has concluded a conditional agreement with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna for the purchase of six hotels and four facilities owned by Elbest, a PGE Group company. It is about hotels, among others in Krynica, Międzyzdroje, Szklarska-Poręba and on the Solina River.

As Polski Holding Hotelowy announced in Wednesday’s press release, Elbest has six hotels and four facilities in Poland that provide hotel and catering services, offer accommodation for individual and organized groups, and organize conferences and trainings.

“The sale of hotel facilities of the Elbest company to the Polish Hotel Holding is an element of organizing the structure of the PGE Group and the implementation of tasks aimed at focusing on the core business” – said Wojciech Dąbrowski, president of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna.

Dąbrowski emphasized that the new investor of hotel facilities for Elbest “is very good news”. – The knowledge and experience of an industry investor such as PHH will certainly allow for the development of the company’s hotel facilities – he pointed out.
