Eko-Okna to open new factory in Wodzisław Śląski, will hire 2,000 people

The factory of medical devices used in dentistry and orthodontics will take up 40,000 sq m and 2,500 jobs.

Panattoni will build the 40,000 sqm factory, of which 20,000 sqm will be occupied by the expanded production area. In addition, the investor will benefit from the so-called clean room, i.e. rooms with strictly controlled environmental parameters. At the plant, the company will mainly produce orthodontic appliances, and the new factory will allow to deliver transparent, removable aligners for straightening teeth, produced using digital and 3D technology, to other markets. The factory in Lower Silesia will be opened in January 2022, and will ultimately employ 2,500 people.

  • It is a great honor for us that another global company, taking such an important step in its development, focuses on cooperation with Panattoni. Our leadership position in the delivered industrial space, confirmed by the recent PropertyEU ranking, pays off, and the experience acquired with subsequent advanced implementations turns out to be crucial for partners from the other side of the world – from the United States, or, inter alia, China. The investment is also very pleasing due to its impact on the region, perception of Poland in the world and, above all, the local labor market. Moreover, it will be an example of sustainable construction. This once again confirms that Panattoni provides facilities important both for the development of local markets and the entire real estate industry – comments Damian Kowalczyk, Development Director at Panattoni
