“Pride of Poland” Arabian Horse Auction – entries open.

The National Arabian Horse Show and the “Pride of Poland” Horse Auction will be held in mid-August in Janów Podlaski. The organizers hope that the restrictions will be eased soon and that the public will also be able to participate in the event.

The president of the Polish Horse Racing Club, Tomasz Chalimoniuk, presented today the first organizational information.

President of PKWK Tomasz Chalimoniuk said horses can now be entered to participate in the show.

  • “On May 19, we start accepting applications to participate in the Show. Horses can be entered until July 2nd. Until June 18, we accept applications to participate in the Auction. We also already have established judges. We know most of the judges from previous years” said Chalimoniuk.

The president of PKWK emphasized that detailed organizational issues depend on the epidemiological situation related to the coronavirus pandemic. He informed that the organizers hope that the restrictions will be eased soon and that the public will also be able to participate in the event.

  • “I hope that in August we will be able to host all interested parties in Janów Podlaski without restrictions. Therefore, this year we already have normal price lists for VIP invitations and tickets”, emphasized President Chalimoniuk and added that the interest in participation is high.

The proposed lists of horses from the Polish state studs in Janów Podlaski, Michałów and Białka for the “Pride of Poland” and “Summer Sale” auctions are already known. The list is available in the presentation below. There you can also find information on the rules of participation in the Show and Auction.

Further organizational details concerning both the Show and the Auction will be presented at the next meetings.
