Burda Media Polska publishing house acquires the Swiss company Edipresse Polska. The contract for the sale of the company has already been signed, but the consent to the transaction has to be granted by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

The amount of the transaction was not specified. It will be finalized after obtaining the consent of the President of UOKiK.
Edipresse Polska today includes the magazines “Viva!”, “Viva! Moda”, „Party”, „Mamo, to ja” and „Twoje Dziecko”. In recent years, the company has closed, among others, the biweekly „Flesz. Gwiazdy & Styl” and sold to Bauer „Przyjaciółka”, „Pani Domu” and „Poradnik Domowy”.
Burda Media Polska belongs to a German media concern and publishes such magazines as “Elle”, “Claudia”, “Gala”, “Glamor”, “My Beautiful Garden” or “Focus”.
